Clemorton & the Armed Forces
Our Commitment to the Armed Forces Community
Clemorton is proud to be a signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant and a Bronze Award holder in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
Our commitment is about more than displaying a badge. We want to play an active role in supporting the Armed Forces community, while using our experience in leadership, strategy, transformation and growth to help create stronger connections between military and business leadership.

Our commitment
Our Armed Forces Covenant Commitment
By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, Clemorton has made a formal commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community and recognising the contribution made by serving personnel, Reservists, veterans and military families.
We want that commitment to be reflected in what we do, rather than simply in the recognition we hold.
Shared learning
Connecting Military and Business Leadership
Military and commercial organisations operate in very different environments, but there is considerable value in creating opportunities for their leaders to learn from one another.
Leadership under pressure, accountability, teamwork, decision-making, organisational culture, commercial thinking and leading through change all provide valuable territory for shared learning.
As our work with the Armed Forces community develops, we want Clemorton to help create some of those conversations, bringing together people with different experiences and perspectives who can learn from one another.
Employer community
Working with Covenant Employers
We are keen to build relationships with other organisations that have made a commitment to the Armed Forces community.
Through conversations, leadership roundtables, shared learning and future collaboration, we want to explore how employers can share experience, learn from good practice and strengthen the contribution they make to the Armed Forces community.

Turning Commitment into Action
We see this as the beginning of an ongoing commitment rather than an end point.
Over time, we want this page to reflect what that commitment looks like in practice, including conversations with military and business leaders, events, shared learning, employer collaboration and practical support for the Armed Forces community.
As that work develops, we will share the experiences, ideas and lessons that we believe can be useful to both communities.
